The Exhibition: Running from 6th February to 26th February, this solo show captures the raw energy and fleeting beauty of the East Kent countryside. Having returned to oil painting in 2022 after moving to the area, Peter’s work is driven by "chasing a vital moment"—the sharp flicker of winter sunlight amongst showers, the rhythm of hop poles stripped of bines, and the quiet drama of a local snowfall.

From the recognisable scenes of Wickhambreaux and Ickham to the vast, moody skies over Seaton, these affordable originals (£200-£600) celebrate the unique character of our rural landscape. Peter’s process results in works that sit halfway between a sketch and a finished piece—vibrant, energetic, and full of light.
