Jeanette Cook

Sculptor, Painter & Glass Artist | Exploring Life Cycles and Hidden Narratives | Based in Kent

Jeanette Cook is a multi-disciplinary artist based in rural southeast Kent, working across sculpture, fused glass, and painting. A Fine Art graduate from Canterbury Christ Church University, she draws deep inspiration from the natural world and its recurring cycles—sunrise and sunset, growth and decay, birth and death.

Her work explores the tension between what is hidden and what is revealed, using forms like pods, eggs, and seeds to symbolise transformation, emergence, and the unknown. Blending figurative and abstract approaches, Jeanette’s art reflects a personal and emotional connection to time, memory, and the mysteries of life. Whether working in metal, pigment, or glass, her practice is driven by curiosity, symbolism, and a desire to express complex human experiences through evolving materials.
