About

Judith Westrup

Self-Taught Printmaker | Linocuts Inspired by Landscape & History | Based in Kent

Judith Westrup is a self-taught linocut printmaker whose work is deeply rooted in the history and natural beauty of local landscapes. Drawing inspiration from ancient trees, old pathways, and industrial remnants, her prints often reflect her personal connection to place. Her background in health and education, along with her passions as a mudlark, ancient tree recorder, and hedgelayer, bring a unique richness to her practice.

Working from her kitchen studio in Kent, Judith creates and teaches linocut techniques, inviting others to explore the art form. Her award-winning work has been shown in galleries across the South East, including solo and group exhibitions, and she has been featured in publications such as Inside Kent and Pressing Matters.
